🦌 Understanding Rut Maps

The rut isn't a single day event—it's a gradual process spanning several weeks. It begins slowly with younger, eager bucks pursuing any receptive does (typically younger does). Activity then builds to a peak during the middle of the date range shown, when most does enter estrus and mature bucks actively compete for breeding opportunities. Finally, the rut tapers off as remaining unbred does cycle back into estrus. The dates shown represent the peak breeding window, but expect increased deer movement for 1-2 weeks before and after. Time your hunts accordingly for maximum success!

Corn Feeder

Track Your Corn Feeders

On average, a corn feeder set to 10 seconds will throw 2 lbs of corn. If you have it set to run once per day, 200 pounds of corn will last 100 days.

About Us

Our Story

It's really quite simple. We love hunting and are always looking for an edge. In today's world, that information usually comes from our phones. Every year while hunting, I grew frustrated with how many apps and websites I had to open just to get all the information I needed. Since I enjoy website development, I thought, "I'll write a basic webpage to bring together everything I need for each hunt."

This project started 100% for my personal use. As I began setting it up, I kept thinking of "just one more thing" to add. I showed it to my hunting buddies, and they gave me even more ideas. The project quickly grew into something much bigger than I ever anticipated. After sharing it with a few friends, they said I should share it with others, so I'm sharing it with a Facebook hunting group. If you found us, we hope you enjoy!

You'll notice we primarily hunt in Georgia and Alabama. If you find this site useful and want to add something specific to your state, feel free to send it my way! Hopefully, it's as helpful to you as it has been for me.

Good luck hunting this year, and Where Ya Huntin'?!?!

More Than Just Hunting

I'd be remiss if I didn't tell you about something that brings me even more joy and peace than hunting—Jesus. He’s changed me from the inside out and given me a new perspective on life. I've included a message of hope below called The Gospel.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." – John 3:16

The Gospel

We've all sinned, which makes us an enemy of God, because He is perfect

Romans 3:23: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

Our sin has earned us spiritual death, which is separation from God forever

Romans 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

God is merciful; He sent His Son as a substitute sacrifice for our sin

Romans 5:8: "But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 3:25: "Whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins."

Ephesians 2:8-9: "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."

Luke 13:3: "No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."

Only because of a perfect sacrifice, Jesus

John 1:29: "The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, 'Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!'

Jesus lived sinless in the flesh, defeated death, and our sin by rising from the grave

1 Corinthians 5:21: "For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."

1 Corinthians 15:54: "When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: 'Death is swallowed up in victory.'"

Matthew 28: "Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it."

When we understand our sinful position and our need for Jesus

Romans 10:9-10: "Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."

Romans 10:13: "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

He (Jesus) said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Matthew 16:15
